Performed reporter duties— go out to various scenes to conduct interviews, gather appropriate information for news stories, report live from the field as necessary, record news spots for morning and afternoon newscasts. Wrote corresponding articles for stories that I covered, to post on the website. Some social media responsibilities, such as positing to the news station’s Facebook (e.g. live streaming from Facebook, and engaging the audience through my reporter Twitter page). Assisted with writing morning news editing as needed. Perform other duties as requested by the news director.
