About Evita

Evita M. Caldwell is a trusted journalist, writer, and communications specialist in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Saint Louis University in 2011, she spent the next several years working as a writer and freelance journalist for several media organizations in St. Louis in print, online and briefly on-air. This included work with the Nine Network of St. Louis, St. Louis Public Radio, and KMOX Radio. Her year-and-a-half long project “All Grown Up” examined the outcome of a multi million-dollar civic effort to improve student academic outcomes at 10 St. Louis Public Schools. Before carving a career path in journalism, Evita also worked in the health care field as a pharmacy technician/customer service rep with Walgreens Pharmacy.

Currently, Evita works in public affairs. She serves as a member of FOCUS St. Louis (Emerging Leader Graduate, Fall 2017). In May 2018, she received the Young Alumni Award from Saint Louis University’s Communications Department.
